    Description

    An opportunity has come up to cover a period of maternity leave until the current employee returns later this year.

    This HR Generalist position is suitable for someone with a background in Financial Services HR as they require a strong understanding of SMCR and various FCA regulations.

    The role involves a lot of administration and will involve supporting senior HR Generalists.

    The successful candidate will work 4 days in the office and 1 day from home.

    Working hours are standard for top financial services roles with an average of 9-6, though some days may be longer than others.

    • The Role:
    • Provide HR Administrative support to the HR Director
    • Manage the Employee Life Cycle, including onboarding and contract letters
    • Conduct background checks for all new hires
    • Oversee SMCR administration processes
    • Lead recruitment and management of the HR Intern
    • Handle various other HR administrative tasks
    • The Candidate:
    • Must have a background in Financial Services, particularly with SMCR
    • Minimum of 2 years of HR Administrative experience, preferably in Private Equity, Hedge Fund, or Investment Management
    • Strong work ethic
    • Ability to maintain discretion
    • Flexible mindset
    • Strong organizational skills
    • CIPD level 5 certification
    • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel
