Dear Sir/Madam, 

Application for Behaviour Support Worker

I am a graduate of the University of Manchester in Management. I have been made aware of this job role over Google and since then, I have been interested in expanding my professional horizons by seeking new challenges at Next. 

Recently, I opted to become a teaching assistant and I'm also learning how to code since I think education should never stop. I just opened my own online jewellery store, to which I devote my weekends since I want to be active. In addition to finishing my management degree in June 2023, I completed two business analysis certificates this year. I like learning languages, I fluently speak English, Italian, and Bangla and I also understand Urdu/Hindi. This advantage let me help students in my secondary and college times by translating for those who didn't speak much English.

Going to university taught me how to be resourceful since I had to work more than necessary to finish my exams and essays, but more significantly, because I showed resourcefulness when working in groups. This is due to the extra effort I had to perform to make sure that the group presentations were good and appropriate for the target audience.

I've developed patience and resilience since I work as a teaching assistant and encounter challenging students. However, I've become accustomed to the behavioural issues students have, and by getting along with them, I can persuade them to change their conduct. 

I’ve briefly worked with customers during my events planning, this gave me a clear perspective on business management, which gave me the confidence to start my own online jewellery business. Other skills I developed in university were organisation and punctuality. I had to coordinate weekly zoom meetings to complete group work which consisted of working on big projects that needed to be completed within a deadline. I managed the group by listening to their needs which helped in resolving conflicts and building rapport with other people.
