Chris Bower

Chris is an experienced full-stack C# ASP.NET web developer with strong JavaScript skills, including React and Redux. He has been instrumental in developing high-traffic sites, from used vehicle locators to high-transaction ticketing sites. He has also worked on the basket and checkout for some of Europe’s largest e-commerce sites and performance-critical mobile betting sites. Chris has demonstrated excellent team leadership skills by supporting and mentoring other developers. Next - Contract Software Developer - Remote (Leicester) 

• Working on a large complex MVC application. Requiring solid .net and MVC knowledge to develop on and improve the application.
• Created a web api for a consent application that involved making the application performant and resilient and creating an end to end system that through Active Batch and SSIS fed the data science team relevant data. This helped deliver Next a compliant website. 
• Using Typescript extensively for work on the Next bespoke UI implementation to deliver some key improvements relating to the compliance of the site..
• Using GTM to handle the interactions between the OneTrust integration and Google Analytics to enable Next to report on key funnel information relating to the customer's journey to report and action on the reports findings.
• Created QA tooling using React and Redux, around the OneTrust system. This greatly improved the reliability of the content being delivered as well as the time to live.
