About Richard Griffiths:

I am a recent BSc Economics graduate from Cardiff University. After graduating with a 2:1 and travelling Central America, I am now working towards the CFA Investment Management Certificate. I have a passion for finance and investments. Outside of my studies, I have been an active member of Cardiff University Rowing Club representing the university at a competitive level, and have been active in the University’s Finance and Trading Society and the Economics society.

Experience

I have great communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure at a fast pace. I improved these skills at my previous role at ADESA, where I worked within a high pressured sales team, making a high amount of calls to clients - increasing sales and solving customer issues. I chose specific modules during university such as Financial Economics, Money, Banking and Finance and Econometrics which really helped me develop excel, data handling and problem solving skills. In addition, my IMC is developing my knowledge in financial markets and the products within it. I also interned at Bright Network more recently, learning more about the investment banking division.
