  • Full and Specialist registration (and with a licence to practise) with the General Medical Council (GMC), or be eligible for registration within six months of interview
  • MRCP or equivalent
  • FRCPath or equivalent
  • CCT or be within six months of award of CCT by date of interview
  • Broad experience in clinical & laboratory haematology
  • Experience of postgraduate and undergraduate teaching
  • Fully competent in bone marrow aspirate and biopsy, lumbar puncture

    • Desirable

  • MD or PhD or equivalent
  • Evidence of work submitted for Peer review
  • Active and current interest in relevant research
  • Formal training in teaching
