    School Caretaker (Full-Time)

    Hours:
    Full-Time, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday


    Start Date:
    Immediate

    Our client is a vibrant and inclusive community school in the heart of Stevenage, committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment for our students to learn and grow.

    They are currently seeking a dedicated School Caretaker to join the team and help maintain the high standards of the facilities.


    The Role:
    As the School Caretaker, you will play a crucial role in the daily operations of the school


    Maintenance and Repairs:
    Conducting routine inspections and carrying out minor repairs to ensure the school premises are safe and well-maintained.


    • Managing the opening and closing of the school premises, ensuring the security of the buildings and grounds.
    • Upholding health and safety standards, and responding to any immediate issues or emergencies.
    • Groundskeeping: Overseeing the upkeep of outdoor areas, including gardening and litter management.
    • Assisting with the setup of classrooms and event spaces for various school activities.
    Previous experience in a caretaking or facilities management role.
