We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team at a vibrant Secondary School in South West London. This full-time, position is available immediately and with potential to extend long term. The range of pay will be dependent on your experience, offering competitive compensation.

Your experience will be invaluable in ensuring the smooth operation of our school facilities.

Maintenance Skills:
Basic knowledge of maintenance and repair tasks such as plumbing, electrical, and general upkeep is essential.

Attention to Detail:

You'll be responsible for the cleanliness and organisation of our school premises, so meticulous attention to detail is crucial.

Clear and effective communication is necessary when interacting with staff, students, and external contractors.

As a Caretaker at our Secondary School in South West London, you will have a diverse range of responsibilities to ensure the school runs smoothly and safely

Security:

Maintaining the security of the school premises, including locking/unlocking buildings, responding to alarms, and ensuring all entry points are secure.

Maintenance:

Conducting routine checks and minor repairs for various facilities and equipment, such as heating systems, plumbing, lighting, and fixtures.

Ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards are met in classrooms, corridors, restrooms, and communal areas.

Implementing health and safety protocols, including fire drills and emergency procedures, and reporting any hazards or incidents promptly.

Basic grounds maintenance, including litter picking, gardening, and snow clearing as needed.

Overseeing and coordinating external contractors for larger maintenance projects when necessary.

Inventory Management:
Keeping an inventory of cleaning supplies and maintenance equipment, and ordering replacements as needed.

Collaborating with school staff and management to address maintenance and safety concerns promptly.
