    Description
    We are looking to recruit to a Team Leader for busy Admissions department at Whipps Cross Hospital.
    To provide support to Scheduling Delivery Manager and to cover when delivery manager is annual leave and manager a team of schedulers
    To go Daily Ops meeting and theatre planning meeting.
    And will be versed in RTT 18 weeks policies and processes.

    You will be expected to work together with the administrative and clinical teams to provide high quality care for patients within all specialties.

    The ability to forge close working relationships with Hospital administration staff, Clinical staff and other colleagues is essential to the post.

    A working knowledge of excel and other Microsoft programs is essential as is the experience of electronic patient record systems.

    To ensure provision of comprehensive and efficient booking and scheduling services for patients, that adhere to the Trusts Access policy with national and local access targets.

    Office work (6 months) Including filing, phones, taking messages etc.
    A sound knowledge and demonstrable competence re 18 week referral to treatment rules
    Acts responsibly as a team member and seeks help if necessary
    Able to monitor quality of own work and Others
    Methodical and logical approach to work prioritisation and planning

    To have a sound understanding of NHS wide initiatives and experience of responding positively to ensure local implementation
    Flexible approach to the planning and coordination of patient pathways to ensure maximum use of clinical time

    Computerised systems RTT
    Teaching principles Quality ethos
    AMSPAR or equivalent e.g. a good level of medical terminology
    ECDL or equivalent experience e.g. experience of a range of IT packages such as word, excel, outlook and power point
    Supervisory or office management skills equivalent to certificate level
