- Supervise and coordinate electrical projects, including installation, maintenance, and repair work, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Provide technical guidance and support to electrical teams, including assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and resolving technical issues.
- Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure that all work meets safety and quality standards, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Review project plans, specifications, and drawings to identify potential challenges or discrepancies, and collaborate with project managers to develop effective solutions.
- Ensure that all electrical work is carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations and best practices, and promote a culture of safety within the team.
- Maintain accurate records of work activities, including inspection reports, test results, and equipment inventory.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities as required, and represent the company in a professional manner at all times.
- Keep abreast of developments in the electrical industry, including changes to regulations, technologies, and best practices, and ensure that the team is up-to-date on relevant training and certifications.
- City & Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing qualification is essential.
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Electrical Installation.
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and regulations, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve project objectives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
- Full UK driving license is preferred.
