- Minimum of 2 years' recent experience working with children in a residential setting.

Your Role as Children's Home Deputy Manager:
An exciting chance has emerged to join the SCC (Suffolk County Council) Residential Children's Home in Stowmarket as a Deputy Manager.
We are looking for someone who can assist the manager in implementing changes to enhance outcomes for children, take charge in the manager's absence, and contribute to shaping a clear vision for the home. You should possess the skills, creativity, and dedication to provide top-quality care for vulnerable children in the community.
In this dynamic role, leading a team of residential childcare workers, you will handle management duties and be part of an on-call rotation for evenings and weekends. You'll play a crucial role in encouraging positive changes in children and young people, motivating your team, and ensuring a high standard of care.
