    The Anglian Water @one Alliance is a totally collaborative organisation made up of eight partner companies (Anglian Water, SWECO, Balfour Beatty, Barhale, Binnies, MMB, MWH Treatment, and Skanska) and an extended supply chain, delivering over half of Anglian Water's capital investment programme.

    We are gearing up for our most exciting and challenging Asset Management Period yet, known as AMP8, this will see us deliver a programme of work larger than we've ever delivered before.

    We'll be embarking on a new kind of project delivery focusing on nature-based solutions like wetlands and urban drainage schemes.

    With a large ramp-up of work in front of us, we have a host of engineering projects which require our Delivery team to provide enthusiasm and innovation to deliver engineering excellence.

    To support delivering our Nitrates Schemes we're looking for a Process Engineer in our Water Non-Infrastructure (WNI) team.

    As our new Process Engineer within WNI, you'll work in collaboration with the project design team to arrive at appropriate process solutions adopting the principles of optimised plant performance, use of standard designs and following @one engineering design standards.

    Undertake process design of Water Treatment Plants and water systems that achieve the goals of Anglian Water in terms of customer, environment, and efficiency.

    Technical schedules and data sheets.
    Engineering calculations (hydraulic calculations, pump calculations, mass balance calculation etc.).
    Particular specifications for engineering subcontracts.
    Working closely with the supply chain and performing technical bid analysis of their designs.

    Oversee key outputs including process calculations, hydraulics, unit processes, pump calculations, capacity calculations, data sheets and technical bid analysis of 3rd party process equipment.

    Escalate issues that may impact on time/cost/quality before they become problems or exceed agreed timescales.

    Maintain close links with other Engineering teams to ensure smooth interfaces between disciplines; To join us on our exciting and challenging journey for engineering excellence, you'll be educated to degree level in water process science/engineering related subject and have solid experience of process engineering in water non-infrastructure, and ideally Nitrate Removal / Ion Exchange.

    Demonstrating strong IT skills, you'll marry your technical and people skills to deliver the best process engineering facility to your stakeholders on a regular basis.
