WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?


Reporting to the Leasehold & Contracts Manager, a large part of your role will be out on site, whilst the administration can be at a local office or from home.


You will be responsible for continuity of the service provided by the team of domestics working remotely within our Independent Living schemes.

Carrying out regular meetings, performance management, recruitment and support. Arranging cover for absences and sick leave where needed. Delivering induction training for new staff and monitoring ongoing performance, arranging training as appropriate.


Ensuring all regulatory requirements are met; procedures such as regular testing of fire alarms, emergency lighting checks and fire doors to blocks.

Accurate recording and reporting of testing, progressing any actions promptly in line with the company health & Safety policy.

You will collaborate with other colleagues and teams to ensure high standard of service are being delivered. Attending meetings, feeding into the continuous improvement and change initiatives.

You will first response to service failures in the instance investigating complaints and reporting back on performance, contributing to the budget process with suggestions and proposals for efficiencies or alternative methods where beneficial.

This role is full time, permanent, working 36.25 hours per week.


WHAT WILL THE RIGHT PERSON LOOK LIKE?


This post holder will have Building Management experience, able to manage and support the domestic staff to ensure that we provide an excellent, value for money service to residents.

You will be a people person and focused on taking responsibility for delivering the best possible service for our residents and being able to build and maintain positive working relationships with residents and colleagues alike.


You will need to be able to work calmly and methodically under pressure, be able to prioritise tasks, delegating when necessary and asking for and receiving support from colleagues where necessary.


Ideally having experience gained within the Housing Sector, you will have knowledge of current Health and Safety practice and Compliance processes to ensure our buildings are safe and cared for
