    Business Development Manager:
    Hours: Full-Time
    Location: Remote (with access to Manchester)
    Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 + Uncapped Commission
    What You'll Be Doing
    As the Business Development Manager, you'll have a crucial role in driving growth for our Cloud Engineer Academy and Solecurity (cloud security company). Your main responsibilities will include:
    Corporate Partnerships & Student Placements
    • Identify and build relationships with potential corporate partners and clients
    • Promote the Cloud Engineer Academy's pool of talented graduates to companies looking for cloud professionals
    • Negotiate and secure partnerships for student placements, internships, and job opportunities
    Enterprise Sales
    • Actively engage with enterprises to sell Solecurity's cloud security solutions and services
    • Understand client needs, present tailored solutions, and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals
    • Achieve and surpass quarterly/annual sales targets for Solecurity's enterprise offerings
    Strategic Initiatives
    • Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement business development strategies
    • Identify new market opportunities and potential revenue streams
    • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions
    Requirements

    • 3-4 years of proven experience in B2B sales, account management, or business development roles, preferably in the technology or cloud computing industry
    • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
    • Outstanding networking and relationship-building abilities
    • In-depth understanding of cloud technologies, security landscape, and enterprise needs
    • Ability to position solutions based on client requirements and drive consultative sales
    • Self-motivated with a proven sales track record
    • Comfortable managing long sales cycles in enterprise environments
    • Proficiency in English, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills
    • Willingness to work evenings and weekends when necessary
    • Commitment to a long-term role (minimum 3 years)
    • Passion for technology, entrepreneurship, and our mission
