SEND Teacher – September 2024Calling all SEND Teachers looking for a new opportunity for 2024 The Education Network is currently working in partnership with a welcoming special school that requires a teacher who is enthusiastic about working with special educational needs and making learning accessible to all.
This vibrant special school supports students in KS3 – 5 who have a primary diagnosis of Autism or MLD.The leadership team are outstanding, supportive, and compassionate.
Staff are welcoming and have a common goal, providing all students with an outstanding education This role requires a qualified teacher who wants to work with students who have faced barriers to learning.
The school is happy to consider a SEND Teacher from ither a Primary or Secondary background, as many of the students are working at KS2.
This school truly is a wonderful place to work, it is like a little oasis that provides a nurturing education for young people with special educational needs.
If you are a QTS teacher with SEND experience or a current SEND teacher, apply todayJob Role:
Teaching small classes of Key Stage 3/4 children with additional needs.
Planning and delivering lessons to meet the need of individual pupils.
Liaising with the SENCO and TA's to ensure children are supported appropriately.
Making school a nurturing, welcoming and safe place for pupils.
Helping young people to break down academic and social barriers
