    Job Title: Specialist, Audit Services



    The Specialist, Audit Services at Northern Trust will directly report to the Head of Asset Servicing and International Audit International, Managing Director. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in executing strategic initiatives and managing audit projects to enhance operational excellence within the Asset Servicing sector.



    Responsibilities:

    • Offer strategic advice and assist in developing priorities for the Asset Servicing and International Audit sector.
    • Manage operational aspects of the audit team, including scheduling, communication, and oversight of management information.
    • Provide research and analysis support to key stakeholders.
    • Track audit results and ongoing initiatives through data analysis.
    • Lead high-priority projects and collaborate with the global Audit Leadership Team.
    • Assist in various operational aspects such as finance planning and HR interactions related to audit delivery.
    • Own a segment of the Asset Servicing Audit Universe and contribute to annual audit planning.
    • Provide guidance and support to junior staff during audit processes.

    Skills / Qualifications:

    • Prior experience in audit management preferred.
    • Familiarity with Asset Servicing products is advantageous.
    • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks.
    • Demonstrated capability in managing stakeholders and multiple objectives.
    • Bachelor's degree.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
    • Ability to build relationships, create a collaborative environment, and think strategically.
    • Capacity to execute with precision in a fast-paced setting.
