    Candidates must be prepared to travel in and out of central London by any means and wider areas as and when required.

    Full Time and Permanent- This role is 5 days a week (Mon – Fri) will also be subject to being included on the call out rota (7-day period) which is 1 in 6 at present.

    My client is a Leading FM Contractor in the UK and other related support services business with an expanding client base across the UK.

    They provide Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance to various clients throughout the UK.

    They are now actively looking to recruit a Multi Skilled Maintenance Electrician with mechanical experience for the Greater London area.

    The role is to look after the planned and reactive Mobile Mechanical multiskilled 18th Engineer in Greater London.

    This role is mainly reactive based work, faults, repairs, PPM on cold water booster pumps , sump pumps and an element of resetting surface water and foul pumps although the main aspect of sewage is carried out by a sub-contractor, although these are for residential developments the assets are within communal plant rooms, an element is also with commercial buildings / offices.

    Respond promptly and positively to service call requests from the Helpdesk and to assess the requirements of the job and carry out repairs as and where necessary
    Carry out minor alterations and installations within the individuals' technical competence and in accordance with current specifications

    You will also be asked to carry out other basic building fabric maintenance as and when required, such as changing a tap, unblocking a toilet, changing a lock, fixing a door etc.

    Electrical qualified to City & Guilds 236 Parts 1 & 2 OR City & Guilds 2330 Levels 2 & 3 OR NVQ Level 3
    Knowledge and experience of all electrical installations, including wiring, testing, issue written electrical test, minor works reports
    Time served Electrical Apprenticeship

    This is a very busy role and our client are looking for a fully qualified electrician but the person must be happy to carry out basic building fabric maintenance as well as all the electrical work.

    Plumbing experience is preferred.

    Our client will be carrying out telephone interviews for the role and they have an amended induction in place for the successful candidate, so an immediate start is available.
