If so then we have got the role for you, at our restaurant / deli bar, events and hospitality spaces within a manufacturing and corporate office site in Barrow , working for Apleona, a caterer committed to delivering a high quality and sustainable food offer that always exceeds expectations.
In this role you'll be responsible for the management of all catering and hospitality services provision, as well as direct responsibility for food preparation to support this. This will include but not be limited to restaurant services, functions, hospitality and vending services, as well as supporting other business areas at the site where we manage not just catering but other aspects of facilities management.
It is an important part of the role to manage, support and develop the team within your sphere of responsibility, to ensure they are responsive, well-motivated and customer focused providing excellent catering, hospitality and function services to all customers.
The Chef Manager will be an important member of the senior management team and will need to be hands on, motivated, hardworking - a committed team player ensuring the highest professional standards are adhered to at all times with strong leadership skills.
Our ideal candidate will need to have:
We'll provide you with full training once you start and make sure that you have everything you need to do a great job. You may already have a food hygiene qualification so please let us know in your application.
You will be paid up to £35,000 per annum and you will work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday as required. Mostly your hours will be within normal working hours 0:730 – 16:30 but you will need to able to adjust your hours where required to support business needs including hospitality functions.
