Contracts Manager required in Essex

GVR Solutions are currently representing a reputable and very well-established main contractor, based in Essex, who have entered the market for an experienced Refurbishment and Fit out Contracts Manager to join their pre-construction team.

As a Contracts Manager you will:

Preferably would be ex trade with vast supervision/ management experience working up from site operative.
Programming experience
Full contract obligation awareness
Good client facing candidate
Lead all negotiations of contracts for construction projects
Create, review, negotiate and administration of all Contracts, Sub-Contractors, Teaming and Non-Disclosures.
Contract Negotiations and strategies, including fee/profit objectives
Settle disputes regarding contract interpretation
Liaise with management team and be point of contact for internal teams who may have questions regarding contracts.
Manage and track project finance on an ongoing basis
Review reports to make sure projects are within the time-frame and budgets
Identify and ensure compliance with contract terms, from proposal to completion, submitting reports timely.
Continually refine suppliers cost savings and deliver the best value at all times
Develop strong relationships with Clients and in-house management
Identify risks and escalate

The Contracts Manager must have/be:

Have experience with the Prime Residential Sector
Have a detailed knowledge and understanding of a Contracts Manager
Have a stable employment record
Relevant IT Skills
Excellent oral communication and written skills
Ability to manage multiple projects
Proven track record of liaising with Clients
Strong attention to detail
Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, diplomatic, deal maker
Confident, Articulate and a critical thinker
