    • Indeed is seeking a CSIX Data Engineer - Manager to join its Automation, Analytics & Intelligence team within Sales. The Data Engineer Manager collaborates closely with business partners across various functions to help lead and execute strategic initiatives that increase revenue, drive operational scale and improve efficiency for continuous growth. Your tasks will involve creating and maintaining ETLs and other data products using a variety of tools and general Linux environments. As a manager, you will be tasked with numerous duties that come along with overseeing a team. These include, but are not limited to hiring new team members, having regular one on ones, supporting career growth and development, conducting regular reviews and being an advocate for your team.     • Mentor other Data Engineers and support them in their day to day work
    • Grow your team, foster a culture of transparency, and support their career development
    • Support the onboarding and upskilling of team members and be a SME for Indeed's data
    • Develop a variety of data workflows, pipelines, and ETL processes
    • Build and maintain data products that support our Sales and Client Success partners
    • Partner with our Sales and Client Success teams to understand Indeed's business goals and targets
    • Prioritize new requests to ensure alignment across teams and to have the highest impact for Indeed Skills/Competencies
    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related field of study
    • Python programming experience in a Linux-based environment
    • Experience with big data platforms ( AWS, GBQ, Hadoop)
    • Advanced SQL scripting and database management skills
    • Hands-on data processing and data modeling experience in a big data environment
    • Ability to manage and work efficiently on a remote/distributed team
    • Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
    • Experience with fast-paced, sales-force oriented business models Salary Range Transparency

    • The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.
