    Job Role:
    Principal OR Associate Fire Engineer


    Location:
    Melton Mowbray

    Are you an expert in your field? Ready to lead a team? Based in the Midlands? We're looking for a principal or associate fire engineer to join the technical part of the business, delivering client projects, leading our Melton Mowbray team with advice and mentorship.

    You'll contribute to the consulting output and assist with the overall development of the business.

    Main Duties
    Delivery and management of fire engineering projects
    Working individually and as part of a team to win or deliver projects
    Provide management and supervision to the fire engineer team and report into our directors
    Monitor project progress and manage deadlines efficiently
    Outward-facing role working directly with clients to fulfill their needs
    Communicate and promote core values throughout the company
    Promote and ensure technical excellence
    What we ask for
    MSc Fire Engineering degree for 5 years, or BEng/BSc degree for 7 years
    CEng/application in process
    Typically 5-10 years' experience in a consultancy or similar environment
    Extensive knowledge and experience of UK fire safety legislation and standards
    Extensive experience delivering fire engineered solutions for UK-based projects
    Development and implementation of fire strategies, projects, and research initiatives
    Excellent report writing and communication skills - be collaborative and engaging
