    Description
    • Migration of code from Microsoft SQL Server to Snowflake, including adopting a new data structure.
    • Produce high-quality documentation and test evidence to support change management governance requirements.
    • Assist with the investigation of unexpected financial results through in-depth data analysis.
    • Support the development of new SQL code in Snowflake to meet business reporting requirements related to financial data.
    • Support the creation of financial processes/insights through data analysis and query development.
    • Ensure proper operation of controls to safeguard the accuracy of financial outputs produced by the financial data team and comply with relevant legislation, regulations, and professional standards.
    • Perform other data-related activities as needed.

    Who we're looking for:

    • Proficient in SQL programming languages. Familiarity with other programming languages (Python, R, etc.) is a plus.
    • Solid understanding of relational and non-relational databases, data warehousing concepts, and data modeling techniques.
    • Experience in documenting code changes.
    • Intermediate computing skills, including Excel and Power BI. Proficiency in other relevant computing systems is advantageous.
    • Understanding of the SJP product range and operations.
    • Familiarity with the data systems utilized within the SJP business.
    • Strong data analysis skills, especially with very large datasets.
    • Ability to comprehend regulatory and statutory requirements.
    • Capable of simplifying complex issues for effective communication.
    • Skilled at constructing high-quality, productive relationships across the organization.
