    A new opportunity has arisen for a Grounds Maintenance Assistant, for Rowley Park. We are looking for someone that shall have a key role in providing a grounds maintenance service in six specific areas: general grounds, herb garden, green flag accreditation, football pitches, bowls green and artificial surfaces. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, and is able to ensure all the grounds are maintained to promote a positive image of the facilities to members, visitors and guests. Ideally you will have experience within a similar role, however full training and support will be provided. We want our employees and customers to have the best experience possible.

    Hours: 22.5 hours a week, Monday to Sunday (Rota basis)

    This is a seasonal role which will be between May and September.

    Requirements

    • Maintain an aesthetically pleasing landscape that is both functional and complementary to the site and local environment throughout the year.
    • Maintain the grounds in such a way as to promote a positive image of the facility to all members, visitors and guests
    • Excellent communication skills and presentation, with a genuine desire to work closely with customers.
    • Knowledge of horticulture
    • Flexible and adaptable to work longer hours in the Summer Season
