Our Birkenhead site supports our customers through maintenance and operation optimisation with customised solutions for spare parts, repair, and overhaul activities on existing trains for brake discs, brake pads, brake blocks, self contained dynamic brake systems.
Hours:
Monday to Thursday 07:30 to 16:00pm and Friday 07:30am to 12:30pm, 37 hours per week

The key aim of the role is to optimise the assembly and manufacturing process by studying product and manufacturing methods, designing, and delivering robust process flows and work instructions.
The Methods Engineer is the liaison with the Engineering team.This role will serve as a key link between Operations and the Engineering team.
Optimise the assembly and manufacturing process by studying product and manufacturing methods, then designing and implementing improvements.
Read, interpret, and evaluate drawings, models, and designs for assembly and manufacture.
Review new technologies to improve capacity/quality.
Lead improvement projects and give presentations to managers and staff.
HNC/Degree in an Engineering discipline
Production/Methods Engineering experience in production environments.
IT literate and fully conversant with Microsoft applications.
