    Mission

    We're looking for a talented and proactive Software Developer with great technical ability and a good head for business to join our expanding software team in Chorley. Our team works with thousands of businesses to help simplify and digitalise their procurement processes through our powerful Netix platform.

    You will form part of the team responsible for the development and maintenance of functionality, maps and configurations ordered by our customers, on our market leading cloud based supply chain platform.

    Your next role?

    You will be working with C# / SQL Server / Entity Framework and MS Visual Studio. You must have excellent communication skills with a friendly and approachable nature, as this role will involve communication with various departments, to gather requirements and manage expectations throughout the process. You will work on projects throughout the whole lifecycle, developing in C#.     Profile

    You'll have a few years experience under your belt, be self-driven and work with a smile on your face, bringing a positive vibe You'll be highly motivated to succeed personally and as part of a team and have the ability to mentor Junior developers and contribute to their upskilling.

    You will be able to communicate effectively to all levels of the business and be an excellent problem solver with a keen eye for detail.

    You'll be experienced using:

  • C#, MVC, Web Services/API, JavaScript (Angular)
  • .NET Core/.NET 6
  • SQL Server – T-SQL, Stored Procedures

    • And have knowledge and experience of integrating with ERP systems such as Sage, SAP, BC365/Dynamics, Navision, Xero as well as project management systems, ideally Atlassian JIRA.

    You'll have a solid understanding of the practical application of agile development methods and had some exposure to Source Control systems, ideally GIT

    Desirable Skills (Training can be provided)

  • Any knowledge of EDI Standards and Protocols
  • Any experience of container technologies such as Kubernetes.

    Located near the town centre in Leyland, it's a modern mostly open plan office space with parking opposite. It's a bright, light space with a great break out area by the (well stocked) kitchen for relaxing with table tennis, a pool table, Sky TV and an Xbox games console.It's a calm, friendly and professional environment, with a casual dress code. Leyland is famous as once being the home of one of the largest vehicle manufacturers in the UK; British Leyland – probably best known for their trucks and buses. There are several retail parks and leisure centres, the town centre also has a thriving market along with a mix of independent and well known chain stores. Leyland has great access to road links to Preston, Blackpool and Chorley, as well as the M6 and M58 if heading to Manchester, Liverpool or north towards Lancaster and The Lakes.
