Siemens Energy has an exciting opportunity within the Global Repair Network Team working closely with our external network of MROCs (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul Centres) and authorized Repair Vendors as well forging close relationships with internal/external stakeholders to ensure the correct levels of capability and capacity are maintained to support short-, medium- and long-term business requirements.

The Repair Engineer role will play a key part in developing immediate tactical solutions to support the network as well supporting development of long-term strategy work streams ensuring the correct levels of capability today and in the future to provide cost effective, technically fit for purpose and timely repair solutions for all customers
Represent engineering in the wider community during reviews and discussions.
Maintain regulatory compliance per company, national and international standards.
Travel to MROCs & repair vendors to review capability & build working relationships.
You will be able to interact at different levels and be a flexible self-starter.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are required.
Ability to understand component definition drawings and relate to the design intent in the engine assembly.
Preferably have some knowledge of gas turbines and/or industrial equipment along with repair / manufacturing techniques.
Engineering degree in a Mechanical, Materials or Manufacturing discipline. Alternatively, an acceptable level of academic and practical experience
