    Software Development Leader Person Specification
    A technical Degree ideally, anything Software based or similar would stand out.
    Minimum 5 years' experience within a commercial software environment.
    Excellent interpersonal, communication skills, building relationships with people at all levels.
    Strong understanding of software engineering principles, with experience of Agile Scrum/Sprint planning principles.
    Experience with project ownership and coordination, from conception to completion.
    Software Development Leader Key Responsibilities
    Line management of the Software Team, with responsibility for efficiency and output.
    Managing the successful development of scalable firmware and software using a structured, process-driven approach.

    Plan the detailed Software Team workload and regularly communicate the milestone progress to the Project Lead, Programme Manager and Stakeholders.

    Maintain best practices within the Software Team, ensuring technical journals, essential research and company QMS process are followed.
    Leadership and administration of the Sprint process for the Software Team.

    Support the delivery of product firmware and software within the Software Team, from an initial design brief through to full production, encompassing the testing and verification of the design.

    Assisting with project planning, scoping and problem-solving.

    As Lead Technical Support Engineer you will be liaising between customers and the engineering team to problem solve hardware and software issues as they arise.

    You will be responsible for success of the support team in finding solution, as well as developing long term strategy through training team members The process will require you to pass on customer feedback to both the design and new product teams to aid future design, giving you a vital position in shaping future product.



    Technical Support Engineer Role Requirements:
    Previous experience as a Technical Support Engineer or working with similar IT based systems and network.
    Certification in Microsoft / Comp TIA / Cisco or other relevant technologies.

    IT Business Systems Developer Role Overview

    Responsible for the maintenance and development of IT software and BI reporting across all sites, particularly in support of the key business systems of Ross ERP, Planet Together and EMF workflow automation.

    Formal qualifications or significant experience using a number of programming languages
    ~ A level Maths/Computer Science
    ~ Strong working knowledge of SQL and coding standards
    ~Highly analytical, creative problem solving skills, prioritisation skills, strong collaborative worker, self-motivated and can work with minimal supervision, adaptable, aptitude for learning new technology
    Attention to detail, logical, analytical thinker, understands and respects business risk in relation to IT software development
    IT Business Systems Developer Key Responsibilities
    Develop a thorough understanding of the software deployed to provide suitable support and development expertise to the Business Systems Team
    Develop BI reports from Ross ERP and Planet Together in line with identified business requirements
    Create technical reference documentation detailing software programs and integrations
    Collaborate with the Business Systems Team and other Departments to identify software development needs and implement appropriate solutions to meet these needs
    Perform suitable testing to ensure all developed software is fit for purpose before deployment
    Provide technical support for the Bartender Print Management package and participate in necessary label format development
    Provide technical support for the EDI integration package
    Provide other technical support as required by the Business Systems Manager
