    Associate / Manager - Real Estate Capital Markets (Debt)

    *** Immediate Start

    ****3-6 month contract

    Senior Associate / Manager required for an immediate start contract with a private equity backed property company.

    The company develops, owns and operates a diversified portfolio of logistics and industrial properties across Europe. Following recent investment from a global private equity firm, the business has significant growth ambitions along with capital available to invest.

    The successful candidate will work in the debt team to support the execution of new debt transactions, as well as management of existing debt facilities. You will work closely with senior management and key stakeholders from across the business, as well as investors and lenders.

    Responsibilities

    • Transaction management (structuring and completion) of debt financing for acquisitions and portfolio refinancing
    • Preparation and presentation, to senior management and shareholders, of cashflows and credit papers to support new debt/refinancings
    • Assist in the negotiation and productions of loan documentation to ensure the business has the flexibility to deliver its business plan
    • Lead and coordinate due-diligence with lenders
    • Manage the relationship lenders and partner internal and external stakeholders to ensure the smooth running of loans
    • Work closely with the finance team to manage overall liquidity and drawdowns
    • Manage bank/covenant compliance and reporting, ensuring it is delivered in a timely and accurate manner

    Skills and experience required:

    • Demonstrable track record in the real estate debt financing space
    • Detailed experience of large scale bank facilities; debt; structured finance; and capital markets
    • Demonstrable ability to write credit reports to lenders / investors
    • Excellent communication skills with ability to interpret and explain financial information to senior stakeholders
    • Familiarity working with loan documentation
