    Description

    Due to a high volume of work in the SouthWest OCU Northavon (part of the wider OCU Group) now have anopportunity for an experienced Electrical Project engineerreportingto the Technical Director responsible for overseeing allelectrical works required to complete works within M&E andWater.

    Duties andResponsibilities

    • Conductinginitial site survey of proposed works and creating job packs;highlighting and raising any areas of safetyconcern
    • Responsible for productivitycompliance
    • Operations liaison andplanning
    • Management of gangers and supportteams
    • Site meetings to discuss works /timescales site conditions and resourcerequirements
    • Regular liaising with clientsLocal Authorities and otherstakeholders
    • Managing customer complaints andcloseouts
    • Weekly planning track sheets recordkeeping and resource bookings as required
    • HSEimprovement plans & coaching of teammembers
    • Weekly site inspections for HSE& quality
    • Development and production ofRAMS as required
    • Manage subcontractors& direct labour on site
    • Solve siteproblems and report to PM
    • Maintain site records& raise any additional works withQS
    • Closeout paperwork and job pack at end ofschemes

    Skills andExperience

    • Experiencedin M&E and MEICA worksdelivery
    • SMSTS
    • Ability tomeasure and record daily progressaccurately.
    • Microsoft office suitefluent
    • Strong SafetyBackground
    • Previous Water experiencebeneficial
