    Vacancy Ref: CK Senior Fire Engineer

    Manchester or London (Hybrid/Flexible working) - £60-90k + benefits

    Are you a fire engineer with a passion for providing safe and secure environments? Do you have experience of providing fire and façade engineering solutions?

    We are seeking an experienced fire engineer to join our dynamic façade and engineering team. This is an exciting chance to be at the forefront of the industry, providing expert advice, guidance, and solutions to clients in order to ensure fire safety compliance and mitigate fire risk.

    This is an exciting opportunity to join a team of highly skilled professionals and to work on a range of fire safety projects. As part of the team, you will be responsible for conducting site inspections, reviewing fire risk assessments, interpreting data collated through external wall investigations, and assessing the applicability of the relevant statute, guidance, best practice, and codes of practice to each building. You will also be involved in delivering holistic reviews of fire safety and commenting on/considering changes to fire strategy, interim measures, mitigations, and proposed remediation actions.

    To be successful, you will need to have previous experience of fire safety engineering, a good

    understanding of current fire safety legislation, codes of practice and guidance, and relevant technical knowledge of building fire safety systems. You must also possess excellent communication and organisational skills, and be an effective decision-maker.

    You must also have:

    • A minimum of 5 years' experience working in fire engineering, preferably in the construction industry
    • A degree in a relevant engineering discipline
    • A good understanding of current fire safety legislation, codes of practice and guidance
    • Knowledge and experience of building fire safety systems
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
    • The ability to make effective decisions
    • The ability to work effectively in a team environment

    Location

    The office locations are in London and Manchester, however our client offer a hybrid combination of in-office and remote working, as the role will require site inspections and meetings, you if you are based anywhere between Manchester and London, then we want to hear from you.
