    Role Description:

    As a Building Surveyor within our Industrial and Manufacturing Team, your main responsibility will be to deliver asset optimization and net zero carbon solutions for our international clients.

    Operating as a 'seller-doer', you will have a strong presence in the Construction Industry and contribute to the expansion of Arcadis' Building Surveying services in our existing portfolio.



    Role Accountabilities:

    - Lead project deliveries (generally ranging from £500k - £3M) and professional tasks both independently and as part of a team in the execution of larger multi-disciplinary projects.

    - Offer informed technical and professional advice to clients or internal stakeholders concerning Building Surveying services, including:

    • Design and specification
    • Contract administration
    • Project management
    • Stakeholder management
    • Risk management
    • Asset optimization
    • Retrofit solutions

    - Contribute to the growth of Building Surveying services at Arcadis by identifying market opportunities and promoting our services to existing clients.

    - As the workload expands, participate in the recruitment of additional Surveyors to meet client needs and lead this expanding team.



    Qualifications & Experience:

    - MRICS qualified

    - Strong communication skills with a proactive and positive attitude.

    - In-depth knowledge of traditional and modern building construction technology and methods.

    - Experience in design, specification, contract administration, property refurbishment, and maintenance.

    - Ability to maintain quality on projects and lead challenging assignments.

    - A strategic thinker and creative problem-solver capable of taking a business-oriented approach to property and asset management.

    - Commercially aware and financially savvy
