    Description

    As a Geopolitics and Misinformation Researcher at ActiveFence, you will use your internet-fluency, online resourcefulness, broad areas of interest, writing and editing proficiency, research interests, and solution-based thinking, to access difficult-to-come-by open-source data from the deep-web and review global online emerging trends.

    You are fluent in English, are a proficient writer and editor, and are comfortable with a fast pace and technical environment.

    You are interested in geopolitics, world events, misinformation, and finding emerging online harmful trends.

    You like to work on several topics simultaneously, learn new things fast, and have a keen interest in diving deep into understanding the culture, politics, and specific misinformation trends of different countries.

    You will be reviewing and editing daily intelligence briefs and analyzing malicious activities online while focusing on broader geopolitical emerging trends and risk assessment.

    You'll be gathering intelligence, coordinating the research and packaging the deliverables, providing analysis of upcoming global events and supporting the management of election war-rooms.

    Analyzing emerging online activity and providing meaningful insights
    Reviewing and editing daily short intelligence briefs of emerging trends
    Producing in-house analysis on emerging geopolitical trends to various stakeholders across the company
    Following industry updates and geopolitical trends
    Monitoring third party websites, forums, messaging app channels and more to uncover malicious activities
    Supporting the management of election war-rooms
    Requirements


    Required experience:
    ~3-4 years experience in geopolitics analysis/misinformation/election monitoring/trust & safety
    ~ Fluent English
    ~ Strong writing editing skills
    ~ A pro-active and independent thinker and doer
    ~ Customer-oriented
    ~ Capable of dealing with harsh content at times
