    Description

    Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician Sheffield, Yorkshire Up to £38,500 plus bonus, overtime & benefits Introduction We are actively recruiting a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician / Electro Mechanical Technician (preferably Mechanically biased) to join the Maintenance Department of an Energy from Waste power station in the Sheffield area.

    This position will be working for one of the UK's leading waste management companies and arguably the leading Energy from Waste (EFW) specialist too.

    Roles & Responsibilities Reporting to the Maintenance Manager you will be responsible for pre-planned and reactive maintenance duties on both mechanical & electrical assets across the plant.

    Carrying out planned & reactive maintenance on the EFW plant which will involve working on steam systems, rotating equipment, cranes, hydraulics & pneumatics, conveyors, electrical systems, motors, variable speed drives, switchgear etc.

    Performing fault finding & diagnostics on plant & equipment.
    Conducting routine servicing, plant modifications, installation & commissioning activities when required.
    Ensuring Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality (HSEQ) compliance at all times.
    Supervising contractors which will include Permits to Work & Risk Assessments.

    A relevant technical qualification such as an Apprenticeship / NVQ / ONC / HNC / HND in a mechanical or electrical engineering discipline.

    Proven experience in a similar Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician role working on industrial mechanical & electrical plant.

    Experience working in the maintenance team in a heavy process environment such as a power station, marine engineering, refinery, chemical plant or paper mill.

    This role will also be suitable for Royal Navy Marine Engineers from LET level and above.
    A competitive salary depending on experience of up to £38,500 per year
    Bonus scheme of up to 10%
