- Ensure costs are accurately recorded in the correct cost centres.
- Ensure timely accruals.
- Address any queries and communicate issues related to actual-to-forecast/plan variances.
- Prepare the detailed annual plan for multiple cost centres
- Engage with key stakeholders to discuss future expectations and implications of the plan.
- Discuss potential new headcount requests and their justifications.
- Construct a five-year strategic plan across all cost centres.
- Oversee the global recharge process, ensuring costs are allocated across regional customers.
- Coordinate with key stakeholders to confirm the annual process and address incoming queries.
- Assist in reporting and report development as needed.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within Finance Operations to resolve issues identified through root cause analysis.

This position is based in Glasgow and will provide support to a global team. The role offers strategic financial guidance and advice to senior functional leadership, facilitating productive discussions with functional leaders, and ensuring sound financial management.
Role Overview
We seek an analytically inclined individual with an accounting qualification and solid post-qualification experience, ideally in Financial Planning & Analysis. Working on a hybrid basis (3 days in Glasgow office / 2 days WFH), you'll join a large and diverse finance team.
The role will focus on four primary areas:
Month-End Process Management
Annual Plan, Forecasts, and Strategic Plan Preparation
Recharge Process Management
Business As Usual (BAU) and Project-Related Requests
Qualifications & background
You will be a Qualified accountant with post-qualification experience.
Experience as a Finance Analyst or in an Accounting role with a strong focus on reporting and analysis is required.
A background gained within a large, global company would be advantageous
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to manipulate and summarise large data sets.
Fluent in written and spoken English, with strong communication skills.
