We do not discriminate against any person because of gender, race, ethnicity, age, sexual orientation, religion, belief or disability.THE ROLEThis is a 'hands-on' and manual position focusing on the front-end of our operations, the receipt and unloading of inbound fuels (RDF - Refuse Derived Fuel) as well as ensuring that the walking floor is continuously loaded and operational.
The position will report into a Shift Team Leader and will also get involved in supporting other areas of plant operations as required and necessary.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIESLoader shovel operation and daily maintenance checksReporting machine defects in a timely manner and assisting with routine system breakdown and fuel feed interruptionsTelehandler operationPrepare, plan, coordinate and monitor fuel deliveries to siteWorking within the Bioenergy Infrastructure company safety rules and adhering to all Health, Safety and Environmental legislation at all timesREQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCESWe are open to considering applicants from a range of different industry backgrounds, it's not essential to have prior experience in the Biomass field.
We would however expect suitable applicants to have prior experiences of at least some of the following;Loader shovel or Telehandler licenceExperience of and commitment to safe systems of workEffective written communication skills, sufficient to ensure equipment, safety and operational records are maintained to a good standardAbility to work on own initiativeStrong team playerPlease note that we do not welcome any agency / 3rd party involvement or approaches on this vacancy until a time we deem to be suitable and at which point we will work with our preferred suppliers only.
