with specialized education, who function as part of the surgical team in the
role of scrub person. They handle the instruments, supplies, and equipment during
the surgical procedure. They have an
understanding of procedures, anticipate the needs of the surgeon, and are
constantly on vigil for maintenance of the sterile field. Surgical Techs have
the necessary knowledge and ability to ensure quality patient care. Our
surgical team provides outstanding customer service.
Excellent
communication skills are essential for this position, along with a high degree
of commitment to the needs and safety of our patients.
REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Graduate of a surgical technology program
BLS Certification
PREFERRED:
Certification by the National Board of Surgical
Technology
Experience in Surgical Assisting
