    Description
    As a Software Engineer at Tillo you will be responsible for the software development of the Tillo platform, including quality & software security. You'll join an exceptional development team, creating and constantly evolving our unique technology. Check out our Engineering Hub to find out more about the team

    We are looking for an experienced Engineer with a solid understanding of PHP and Laravel to help take us to the next level as we expand globally

    You will join a world-class team in the business of making people smile. Our Platform connects our customers to rewards and incentives from 2000+ brands that people love, all via our seamless, easy-to-use API.

    If successful, you will

    • Design and build new web applications
    • Support our DevOps team by monitoring and maintaining test and production environments
    • Maintain the high standards of our codebase
    • Integrate to third-party services and APIs

    About you

    You're a helpful & knowledgeable individual, who will be able to deliver complex feature tickets on time, with clear documentation and test notes. You will be confident taking ownership of delivering larger features as well as coordinating other engineers with their tasks to do so. You'll need to be a strong communicator, able to liaise with technical & non-technical stakeholders across the business.
    Essential experience:
    • Working with Laravel and developing object-oriented PHP
    • Keeping documentation up to date
    • Using version control such as git and branching patterns such as git-flow
    • Managing projects
    Desirable experience:
    • Familiarity with AWS services
    • Designing efficient SQL queries and schemas
    • Building and integrating to APIs
    • Test-Driven Development
    • Working with high performance systems at scale.
    • Familiar with Agile/Scrum methodology
    • Use of front-end frameworks such as
