Understanding of geotechnical and contaminated land risks and the integration of geotechnical solutions on projects
# Project Management of brownfield land investigations and assessments
# Project financial management
# Plan and manage ground investigations and monitoring
# Health & Safety risk assessment and implementation of good practice
# Human Health and Water GQRAs and Gas Risk Assessments
# Prepare Phase 1, 2 and 3 risk assessment reports
# Mentoring and training junior staff
# Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to work as part of a team and to engage with senior management, clients, and regulators.
Can effectively communicate with clients, colleagues and outside agencies and build effective working relationships, always aiming to exceed client expectations
Manage junior members to achieve project objectives on time and within budget
Is committed to Continued Professional Development and remains up-to-date with current developments in the industry
BSc or MSc in Geotechnical Engineering / Geology / Earth or Environmental Sciences. Knowledge of UK/EU standards and Local Authority guidance on brownfield land redevelopment.
