- Oversight of financial reporting and analysis for the LLP
- Manage relationships with, and lead the fund reporting alongside the outsourced administrators
- Providing middle and back office support to the deal team (including new investment opportunities / integral part of the portfolio valuation exercise);
- Regulatory compliance
- New Fund & SPV formation
- Venture capital valuations
- HR / personnel matters
- Stay up to date with latest fund regulatory, fund and tax developments across the industry in order to better position the Firm, its funds and co-investment vehicles as the business evolves
- A background in Private Equity or Venture Capital and familiar with the relevant fund structures
- Driven, self-starter
- Confident working in small but expanding teams or a "start-up" environment in professional or financial services
- Must be personable and have the confidence and ability work with across all levels of an organisation in an efficient and friendly manner
- Excellent communication and organisational skills and plenty of initiative

My client is an innovative VC fund, with a particular market specialism that is investing globally across high quality start-ups. Having surpassed their initial fundraising target, they are now managing more than $300m, which makes them the largest fund focusing on their market.
Having successfully deployed 50% of the fund already and to support the next stage of growth (particularly in light of fundraising ambitions in 2025), they are currently seeking to appoint a Director of Finance & Operations.
This is an extremely broad opportunity with responsibility for financial management of the corporate entity, fund structuring & formation, legal & HR matters as well as providing ad-hoc middle and back office support to the deal team. The appointee will be adaptable and willing to roll their sleeves up to work directly with the firm's founders, both of whom have extensive experience in investing in this asset class.
