    Description

    Fire & Security Role:
    Are you a Fire Detection Estimating and Design Engineer with technical knowledge of different manufacturers fire systems?

    Paying up to

    £35k

    The ideal candidate would have:
    Experienced fire design engineer (FIA design qualification or similar)nTechnical knowledge of different manufacturers fire systems (i.e. Notifier, Gent, Advanced)nPrevious experience similar role liaising with end user and contractorsnExcellent communication and customer service skillsnHold a clean driving licencenAbility to create and build strong relationships, with a professional approach

    We are looking for an enthusiastic Design/Estimating Engineer to join our busy design and estimating team at our Head Office in Nottingham.


    Design responsibility and the production of fire alarm design proposals.nManaging a number of designs / proposals at any one time and prioritizing according to project needs.nEnsuring that all designs & proposals produced are accurately costed and priced to achieve the agreed company margins and any necessary management approvals & sign offs are obtained prior to issue.nEnsuring all quotations are compliant with the relevant standards & regulations currently in force at the time, CDM, fire alarm British standards etc.nProvide exceptional customer service, managing and maintaining design enquiries, including obtaining and evaluating relevant information, and responding promptly to customer inquiries and concerns.nProvide technical assistance, support and guidance to department team members and communicate and coordinate with internal personnel.nAdministration of all current enquiries, including job won handover files and estimating system updating.
