    Role: Site Manager

    Employment Type: Permanent

    Location: Anglian Water Region

    We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Manager to join our client, a market leader in the water industry, for a role based covering the Anglian Water region. This position will oversee site operations within the Anglian Water framework, ensuring the successful execution of construction and infrastructure projects on-site.

    As a pivotal figure in our site management team, you will be responsible for overseeing site activities, ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

    Responsibilities:

    • Leading and managing site teams, including direct employees and subcontractors, to ensure exceptional safety and quality standards
    • Implementing the Business Management System (BMS) throughout all site phases, from setup to final handover
    • Building and maintaining strong working relationships with site teams, clients, and other key stakeholders
    • Ensuring adequate staffing levels on-site and clearly defining individual responsibilities
    • Overseeing day-to-day site operations, ensuring all activities align with the Site Execution Plan
    • Preparing and approving detailed site plans and method statements prior to commencement
    • Managing the timely procurement and delivery of materials and equipment, ensuring the cost-effective use of resources
    • Monitoring site progress and performance, making adjustments as necessary to meet project goals

    Requirements:

    • Proven experience in managing multi-disciplinary construction sites, preferably within the water industry
    • Extensive knowledge of site management processes and methodologies
    • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams
    • Familiarity with Construction Contracts, particularly NEC and/or IChemE
    • Working knowledge of CDM and construction Health & Safety regulations
    • Previous experience in water and wastewater treatment plants (an advantage)
