- Providing Family Therapy-Anorexia Nervosa and Family Therapy-Bulimia Nervosa within CAMHS EDT
- Providing specialised Systemic Psychotherapy within CAMHS EDT
- Offering systemic advice, consultation, supervision and training to members of the MDT.
- Minimum three years practice in relevant first profession
- Assessed experience of working as a qualified systemic family psychotherapist for a minimum of 2 years or substantial previous relevant clinical experience or newly qualified systemic psychotherapist with both substantial and significant previous relevant clinical experience and family therapy experience within the designated speciality where the post is located.
- Experience of specialist systemic assessment, formulation and intervention with clients.
- Experience of working with a high degree of professionalism in the face of highly emotive and distressing problems, verbal abuse and the threat of physical abuse with a wide variety of client groups across the whole life course presenting problems that reflect the full range of clinical severity.

Job summary
We have an opportunity for a highly motivated, dedicated and enthusiastic Family Therapist to join our CAMHS Eating Disorders Team for a 12 month fixed-term contract.
Ideally, you will be an experienced and qualified Family and Systemic Psychotherapist with current UKCP registration and have experience of clinical leadership and working with complex mental health needs in community settings.
The team currently consists of psychiatry, nursing, psychology, family therapy, child and adolescent psychotherapy, dietetic and occupational therapy staff who work closely with outpatient, inpatient and adult services. Alongside this we have a Home Intervention Team and there is current development of a team focusing on children and young people with Arfid.
Within the core team we offer early specialist assessment and intervention using evidence-based approaches to young people up to the age of 18 years old and their families.

The team is based in central Leicester and are especially keen to hear from candidates who reflect the diverse communities we serve.
