    Finance Manager | D2C Ecommerce | Startup Full Time - Permanent - Hybrid WorkingSalary - £65,000 - £70,000 + Excellent BenefitsTalentEdge are searching for a brilliant Finance Manager ideally with a background in D2C Ecommerce to join a rapidly growing startup on a permanent basis.

    This a hugely exciting opportunity for someone at this level with start up/scale up experience who is looking to join a business with impressive overseas expansion plans over the next 12 months, having just secured significant Series B funding and further investor backing to take the business to the next levelThis role will be pivotal in taking the lead across all financial controls, reporting and analysis functions.

    You will be reporting into an impressive CFO who will be an incredible mentor You will have the opportunity to get involved with the more commercial elements of the business as well as being the core driver of process creation and implementation for the finance function.


    Core duties will include:
    Leading across the finance function, preparing full management accounts and ensuring full accuracy on reporting and on-time delivery.
    FP&A; preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.

    Developing narrative behind budgetary performanceStrategic commercial finance; managing strategic financial operations to align with overall business objectivesLeading on the annual audit process, ensuring seamless direct communication with external auditorsDriving and implementing continuous development and improvement of a flexible accounting and reporting system to enable the business to gain important visibility of key metrics vs budget targetsPreparing and distributing management information packsCashflow management and forecastingThe person:
    ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified (or equivalent) ideally with at least 1-2 years PQE in a similar roleStrong knowledge and understanding of technical accounting principles (UK GAAP and IFRS)Experience working with multiple currencies idealExperience in financial modelling, forecasting, budgeting and variance analysisExcellent analytical skillsProven audit experienceProactive mindset, strong attention to detail and will thrive in a fast-paced environment
