- Work closely with the design team to implement genre-leading AI for players to compete against
- Own the planning and delivery of large bodies of work, with minimal supervision
- Support less experienced team members, mentoring them, and raising the standards of the whole Engineering team
- Pro-actively seek opportunities to improve the quality of everything we do
- Actively take part in our collaborative and creative team spirit
- Experience writing AI Systems on one or more AAA console/PC titles
- Excellent knowledge of gaming AI methodologies, such as Behaviour Trees/FSM, navigation techniques, and considerations for physics-based gameplay mechanics
- Demonstrable experience in Vehicle based AI
- Strong C++ skills, including profiling, debugging and optimizing code
- Solid understanding of code architecture best practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to plan and meet scheduled goals
- Work effectively and independently with minimum guidance and support
- Strong interest in AI and its application in and out of video games
- Passion for games and game development
- Experience with Unreal Engine 4 or 5 on a AAA title, and scripting with Blueprints
- A knack for building challenging and enjoyable AI experiences
- Experience mentoring other Engineers
- Experience working on current-generation consoles
- Familiarity with building data-driven features
- Experience with multi-threaded programming
