This is an outstanding opening for a suitably proactive and ambitious individual to join a market leader and provides an opportunity to learn and develop within the organisation in order to gain the knowledge and experience required to, in time, become an effective and successful international sales executive in a role that will entail overseas travel.
Based in Aylesbury and twice winners of the Queens award for Enterprise, this well established, privately owned manufacturing company, the market leader in the design and manufacture of specialist control room furniture, has an excellent reputation for providing top quality products and services to a diverse range of industries, this includes top level design & customer service plus consultancy and project management resulting in the highest retention rates within the industry.
With a wide ranging UK and worldwide customer base, the company is experiencing continuous growth and, with plans for an exciting future and succession planning within the organisation, now has this excellent opportunity for a suitably qualified, dynamic and ambitious individual.
Starting initially as an Internal Business Development Executive, the role will be office based in order to enable the appointee to focus on familiarisation and maintenance of the customer database and ensuring key contacts are up to date so that an effective pipeline of potential business is available.
With an element of project management, this proactive role will provide a thorough insight into the business as it will involve constant interface with overseas customers via telephone and email.
It is envisaged that, in time and following a significant learning curve when a thorough understanding of the company's equipment and its applications is gained, the role will develop into an International Sales Position involving overseas travel.
Extensive product training will be provided but candidates, who must live within commuting distance of Aylesbury, should have proven commercial experience together with business / academic qualifications and the capacity, through the training provided, to understand customers' technical requirements.
Proficient organisational and communication capabilities are also sought along with business acumen, commercial aptitude and a strong desire to succeed.
