    Description
    Calex is a specialist training and consultancy organisation working in partnership with several market-leading automotive manufacturers. We are currently seeking to recruit a Media Production Coordinator reporting directly to the Learning Innovations Manager.

    They will play a key role in coordinating workflow within the team, whilst being able to direct, shoot and edit footage in accordance with brand guidelines and supporting escalation queries.

    Develop and maintain a comprehensive schedule for all multimedia content, including videos, podcasts, livestreams and webinars
    Provide guidance and support to the team throughout the production process
    Manage and maintain video production equipment, including cameras, lighting, audio recording devices, and accessories
    Create and develop multimedia (audio/video) content
    Prioritising multiple fast-paced projects at the same time
    Ensure that all image and video assets created meet editorial standards and branding guidelines
    Flexible and adaptable; Detail-oriented with a skillset for organising multimedia projects to successful completion.
    Have a understanding of Project Management principals and subsequent scheduling tools
    strong understanding of multimedia production processes, including video production.

    Must have a deep understanding of and appreciation for the creative process – story telling, conceptualising, filming, sound, lighting, etc.

    Have the ability to direct, shoot and edit footage in accordance with brand guidelines.
    Be self-sufficient, tech-savvy with extensive experience of using Adobe Creative Cloud products, e.g. Premiere Pro and After Effects, and an understanding of video formats and codecs
    Be a creative and conceptual thinker with creative energy and ideas
    Ability to travel if required
    Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence corporate clients and help them achieve their creative ideas
    Have an excellent understanding of language, spelling and grammar
    Have excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal)
    Be highly motivated and resilient, with an unwavering attention to detail and consistent focus on quality
    Adhere to and follow all policies and procedures

    This includes contacting all nominated references, as well as checking candidate ID, driving licence (if appropriate) and right to work in the UK.

    The successful candidate will be employed by Calex UK ( Calex are a specialist automotive training provider and provide training staff and expertise including Trainers, Developers, Digital Learning Experts, and Administrators to Volkswagen Group UK.

    We currently operate hybrid working with at least 60% of time in the National Learning Centre with the opportunity to work up to 40% remotely.

    Time spent in the office may change.
