    Job Title:
    DevOps Engineer(Need Active SC Clearance)

    Duration: 14 Months


    Location:

    Hybrid - Willing to spend 1-2 days a week on site – right now it's more like 1 day a fortnight.

    Bristol (Filton Abbey Wood) is the main site at the moment but could be London (Holborn)


    Job Description:
    Key Skills

    ~ Predominantly (but not exclusively) working on AWS

    ~ Extensive use of Kubernetes and Docker, including Openshift

    ~ Extensive experience of Gitlab/Github for source control

    ~ Good understanding of CI/CD's role in delivering software is more important than specific tooling – given we're having to adapt traditional develop low/deploy high approaches to fit our classified integration and deployment needs

    ~ Extensive experience of Linux, including scripting, etc.

    Nice to have

    ~ Experience of deploying to Azure

    ~ Knowledge of classified working practices/risk appetite/policies in classified environment

    ~ We're working across security domains, so any knowledge of cross domain solutions or air gapped is a plus

    AWS as initial hosting provider

    ~ Containerised apps using Docker and Kubernetes

    ~ Apache Jena

    ~ Elastic

    ~ PostGIS

    ~ Kafka

    ~ Apache NiFi

    ~ AWS Cognito

    ~REST, GraphQL, SPARQL interfaces

    ~ Web apps based on HTML/CSS/Javascript frameworks such as React
