    Description

    We are looking for a BI Platform and Data Visualisation Specialist at our company based in London (with hybrid options).

    Salary: £500 - £650 (Inside IR35)

    Duration: 6 months

    Our ideal candidate should be a highly skilled Data Specialist with a robust background in configuring and managing servers, along with experience in designing and deploying platforms using SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence (BI) platforms, Tableau Servers, and MS PowerBI services.

    This role requires a significant level of expertise and in-depth knowledge in various reporting platforms and data modeling techniques.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Configure and manage servers for SAP BusinessObjects BI platforms, Tableau Servers, and MS PowerBI services.
    • Design and deploy solid BI platforms utilizing SAP BusinessObjects, Tableau, and MS PowerBI.
    • Create advanced visualizations using SAP BusinessObjects BI, Tableau, and MS PowerBI.
    • Lead workshops with stakeholders to collect and document requirements, translating them into technical designs.
    • Implement data quality and cleansing techniques with a good understanding of Azure Synapse.
    • Collaborate with relational and NoSQL databases to meet BI platform needs.
    • Develop data models and structures using Snowflake, Business Objects Universes (UDT/IDT), Tableau, and adhere to relevant design principles and standards.
    • Perform unit testing, assist user acceptance testing, and prepare test plans.

    Required Skills and Experience:

    • Hands-on Platform configuration
    • Proficient in leading workshops with stakeholders to gather and document requirements, translating them into technical designs.
    • Substantial experience in designing and developing visualizations using relevant reporting platforms such as SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence (BI) platform, Tableau, and MS PowerBI.
    • Familiarity with Agile (Scrum) methodologies, including drafting and refining user stories.
    • Understanding of software engineering best practices for the full software development lifecycle, encompassing Agile methods, coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, and testing.
