- Carry out network analysis at both distribution and transmission levels to identify potential locations with available capacity
- Engage with DNOs/National Grid for pre-app meetings and prepare grid applications
- Provide technical due diligence to grid offers including optimisation of connection solutions, costs, programme of works and curtailment assessment
- Provide grid inputs e.g. substation design, non-contestable/contestable costs, DUOS/TNOUS charges, capital contributions, and securities for financial modelling, tendering and planning purposes
- Manage ICPs and consultants to progress projects to RTB/energisation including reviewing design submissions and overseeing construction works
- Provide support to the sales processes
- Prepare grid reports and strategic advice to the Management team
- A background in electrical engineering
- Experience working with or for a DNO, National Grid or ICP's throughout the whole project lifecycle
- Extra High Voltage (132kV and above) design network knowledge
