    Senior Project Developer – Utility Scale Solar / BESS Developer

    Bristol

    Circular Resourcing are pleased to be supporting an established Developer of Utility Scale Solar / BESS projects in their search for a Senior Development Manager.

    The role is based in Bristol on a hybrid basis, with the general expectation to spend 2 or 3 days a week in the office.

    Salary: £80k - £100k DOE – strong bonus scheme and potential for LTIP after 12 months

    Location: Central Bristol (hybrid)

    Key Responsibilities:

    You will be responsible for managing an exciting portfolio of Solar & BESS projects across the UK through the development process to RtB, and also supporting the mid / late-stage development of newly originated projects.

    Day-to-day responsibilities will be wide ranging, including ecological evaluation, community engagement, planning, energy yield and grid connection assessments, and budget & programme management.

    Requirements

    • Detailed knowledge and experience of the UK project development process, pitfalls and mitigations
    • Experience with multiple renewable technologies would be highly desirable (wind, solar, battery storage, H2 etc.)
    • Hands on approach and ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
    • Self-motivated, able to manage own workload and clearly communicate progress
    • Experience speaking and negotiating with key project stakeholders
    • Well organised and process-orientated with good attention to detail
    • Proven ability to work and communicate with remote colleagues
    • Commercial awareness and acumen
    • Value focussed with a high degree of accountability
    • Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders
