Description
Job DescriptionPurpose of the role – To develop productivity and process improvements within the mill across a range of subject areas including process chemistry, quality, and environmental compliance. The working hours of the role will be Monday to Thursday & Fridays 08.30 – 15.00 with salary paying up to £42,000.
Personal specification –
Required
· Degree or equivalent in chemistry, chemical engineering, paper science or another relevant subject.
· Minimum of three years Industry experience in a processing or production facility.
· Excellent analytical skills and confident mathematical abilities
Desirable
· Experience of implementing ISO 9001 and 14001
· Experience of Environmental permitting and working with regulatory agencies
· Process Engineering knowledge.
· Knowledge in Lean/Six Sigma concepts
